There are a lot of players who could put up big counting stats with the minutes and usage. I don't doubt Bagley can fit that mold, but can he contribute to winning? Ivey is probably another guy like Bagley who can put up points with the minutes and usage but does enough boneheaded things to lose you games.

There is a comment "I dont understand why Ivey didn't play in crunch time" and then later the guy also said that he only watched the last 6 minutes of the game. A reminder that alot of people here and r/nba don't actually watch the games and just type some **** for engagements lol.

Our 5 man units are crazy. Our most used unit has played 8 games together for a total of 100 minutes (Cade/Killian/Stewart/Duren/Ausar) and the next most minutes for any 5 guys together is just 68 minutes. The lineups have been all over the place this year no getting used to playing with specific groups at all.

Bojan/Stewart/Cade/Ivey/Ausar have played just 35 minutes together this season in four games.

Bojan/Stewart/Cade/Ivey/Duren have played together in just 2 games this season for a total of 19 minutes and they have a great offensive rating, a great defensive rating and a 65.2 TS% with that unit for those 19 minutes haha.

Thanks for all that info. Hoeofully our guys can stay healthy all the rest of this year so it’s not a total lost year and maybe we can have soemthing to build on next year. Tho the cade injury seems a little fishy to me atm, hopefully it’s just me.

Bagley is tearing it up with the Wizards. No surprise to me at all.

i bet he's done that before if you take out the assists. a guy who has never averaged more than 1 assist a game is now averaging a scorching 1.5 assists with the wizards.

edit: quick look and he had a 4-game stretch last season where he had 70 points, 52 rebounds and 4 assists. then he had another stretch like two weeks later where he had 75 points, 31 boards and 7 assists.

so, not exactly a career stretch more than what happens if he plays big minutes. fun fact: his teams lost every game in these 4-game stretches.

And they lost 32 games before he got there. No one's saying he's Bill Russell. But that this board made him Enemy #1 over guys who don't even belong on an nba court is just mind-boggling. Bagley was the least of this team's problems.

But he didn’t play defense and chucked shots from everywhere. He didn’t play winning basketball.

He was basically the PF version of LaVine.

Tyus Jones 14 assists and 0 TOs he would be a decent add for us as an outside the box addition this summer. He's still just a 27 year old PG who would fit well next to Cade IMO he's been elite in assist to TO ratio in his career. You can either shift Cade to starting SF or you can let Ivey be the combo guard off the bench.

I'm guessing Tyus Jones could be had by any team that would be willing to pay slightly above MLE money I am guessing he gets a full MLE offer from a few teams.
