But I wholeheartedly feel they are worse this season. Even watching the Memphis game last night Herro and Rozier were getting annihilated by Scottie Pippen Jr. Those are 2 high usage players that are traffic cones on defense.
Last year Miami had the 3rd best net rating in the playoffs and the #1 3PT shooting percentage. So much of their ball movement, floor spacing and general unselfishness was due to guys like Vincent and Strus who are no longer on the team. Caleb Martin had a much bigger role for them and was legitimately an X factor. Lowry is cooked now but he provided defense and timely shooting for them especially in the 2nd round. This Miami team right now is averaging 95 PPG over their last 7. They are 20th in 3s attempted as well as assists. Dead last in blocks and 27th in rebounding.
Not trying to poke the bear but I’m not sure they are invincible moving forward.
Before the Rozier trade they definitely had a lack of offense. Once he settles in that is a potential big get for them. He is exactly what they needed in theory.
