He can be very good on ball player. He is good defender for sure.
Now, some immaturity , cost, shooting issues are still there, but he would instatlly become best PG Magic had in past 10 years.
Is it just immaturity or his mental makeup?

I will point out we were middle of the pack before Joe and then Franz and Gary went down. Not saying we can't use the help, just that our healthy squad is better than 24th.

Murray hasn’t been as engaged on defense.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

You got any better ideas?

Stop-gap PG's who can shoot until Black is ready or we get one that fits the timeline.
Tyus Jones, D-Lo, Brogdon to name a few. All of which are good people and also likely cheaper. Unlike Murray.

These guys are not as good as Murray and are not better options overall. Murray is worth the cost, a guy like Lavine. There is a difference, kiddo.
Tyus fkn Jones? Give me a break lol

Murray is another question mark shooter who needs the ball in his hands to have success and is also a bit of a headcase. Spurs fans wanted him gone because of that.
We need a guard who isn't going to be a high usage guy and would thrive off-ball while Paolo and Franz gets their touches. If we get a high-usage guard, he needs to be at least Donovan Mitchell level good. Not Murray.
