Can't believe I stayed up for that train wreck. Doc gets a grace period to right the ship, thats for sure. But I hope I don't have to do this whole "where's AJJ" song-and-dance for another half season like I did when AG was coach. Was happy to let Doc "showcase" some bench vets so they could up their value before the deadline, but if anything, their values are plummeting.

An extremely rough shooting night coupled with old/slow/bad defense makes for scratch-your-eyes-out basketball viewership. And its just weird with eleventy nine coaches on the bench, most of who look like they have no idea what they're supposed to do. This whole thing currently feels all wrong. But Doc gets some time here.

Look at Maxey's numbers his rookie year under Doc. Look at SGA's his rookie year under Doc. I am not saying AJJ is anywhere close to these guys, but Doc does not play rookies. He definitely should get a grace period for certain things, but playing young players is not one of them.

I think a real shakeup move is needed. Too many overlapping guys who are terrible at the same thing. You can’t hide Dame, Beas, and Khris (and Bobby, Pat, Brook) at the same time

Rough nights from both your superstars, Blazers hit every tough mid-range shot down the stretch (17/28 overall), and still had multiple chances to win at the end, but just pissed it away with garbage execution. Meh.

I wish Dame would stop being a 3pt chucker. What matters the most is how we finish the game. Do we really want Brook taking a 3 when down by 1? Can't even even get a shot off to tie the game. This team is lazy. They rather sit behind the 3 point line and chuck away. 48% on 52 shots while 28% on 48 3s. Down 1 and you take a lower chance to win it. Too stupid to play the smart odds. Anybody else think the shot selection should be 1/3 3s and 2/3 2s?

Dre as he is right now is honestly better than Cam or Pat.

I've been backing Dame all year but it's getting to the point of maybe we should bail on this experiment before it's too late. His shooting is just so bad, maybe he just can't live up to the expectations this team has.

The Brook signing has been infuriating. It’s just going to be so hard to beat Boston (if we face them) in a best of 7 with him on the floor. I don’t think the Bucks will trade him, but him and Bobby are the two that I’d want gone the most.

Ex players always talk about how difficult it is to play knowing you’re on the block and that’s exactly what I see from Bobby every night. He’s been the guy most likely to be dealt all season and he’s played like it. He had a good run here, but man I can’t wait to see him get dealt.

Pat just looks like a product of Bud. His athleticism looks like it declined, but he just looks completely out of rhythm on the floor.

Crowder is still semi-washed up

Jackson was playing like garbage for weeks and Prunty immediately benched him. Doc seems to have followed suit. I get he’s a rookie and people would rather see younger trash than older trash, but he might be better off going to Oshkosh for a while.

Payne is who we thought he was.

Payne is not at all who I thought he was. I thought he could contribute a little something, at least on offense. I did not think he was near this useless.

The idea is that Jrue/Murray + 6th man Beas is significantly better than Dame/Beas which the way Dame is playing this year it's not even up for debate. The idea of bailing on Dame is we've got 1 week before the deadline and if he really is going to play below career averages for the rest of his career then it's not insane to bail on him right now before his value tanks and we have this ridiculous contract to deal with.

Gun to my head I probably still wouldn't do it just because if he turns it around we have a shot. I guess it would depend on what type of players we could get in return.

Also would have traded mids instead of jrue knowing that our backcourt cant stop anyone.
