For me it’s situational. If you’re wide open and feeling it then sure. If it’s the same shot the opposition know is coming in a 2-1 or end of quarter/game scenario then no thanks.

However JT has been carrying injuries and/or run out of puff in May/June. I’d rather he preserves himself now, so long as he doesn’t take a lot of bad shots when it matters.

Only time will tell, but JT is only 25 and is amazing regardless.

I love pull-ups against the drop, it’s the way to break the scheme. The iso ones less so, unless he’s cooking. And to his credit, he’s taken much better pull-ups this season compared to last.

Against the drop again for me is situational, depending on game moment and who is in the paint for the opposition. JT has come a long way for sure, but still a fair bit to go for mine on choosing the moments. I believe he'll continue to improve on that though, so my concern level is not high or anything.

Barring a Grizz comeback, Tatum would remain undefeated against Memphis (13-0). 34-8-7 on 21 shots is how it should be against a depleted team like this.

For those who think Jordan walsh would lose confidence don't realize this is a 2 way street he can actually blow up with confidence as well..

Nice dunk on your first ever points.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Walsh looking good out there ! Congrats to him for his first NBA points !!
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

So you found the one three he’s taken all season in those scenarios? I thought you said that’s the shot he’s taken all year??

Just admit you were wrong, it’s okay.

This was a month ago. So Tatum is just missing all high percetage shots? Im your world 1-7 is good...

I said he’s missing them. In your world, does that mean something good?

Again, just admit you were wrong.

TBF the OP was positing a future hypothetical, thankfully due to Celtics amazing season, those situations have been vanishing small, so reliance on a # of opportunities < what? - 10?, 5? - is hardly the 'win' you're attempting to make it out to be.

Closest corollary would be end of quarter/ half situations. Regardless, initial question was just that, a question, not a statement of fact.

Can we all move on now?

I think Brissett is such an excellent depth piece, and on those nights when Sam doesn't have it going, I really like going to Brissett as a Change-Up energy guy. I wish Joe would give him some more run. Great to see Walsh get his first points.
