Blocking shots is not a problem for the Cs because the Jays and both White and Jrue are blocking a lot of shots this season.
So Drummond doesn't have to be a shot-blocker with the Cs.
What Drummond brings to the table for the Cs is an extra big body who can get rebounds and hold his own in the low post.
KP and Kornet are just not strong enough in the low post.
In Queta's defense, he has been limiting the Fouls of late. Still a lot of time for him in the regular Season.
I think that we're better off with Queta and his 6 Fouls, long before Drummond could even stay on the Court?
It's too big of a risk as the playoffs will be totally different from the regular season.
Drummond has playoff experience with several teams.
The good thing about Drummond is he has no long term effect on the cap situation of the Cs and you only play him if he's needed.
Drummond will not get regular minutes and that's totally fine.
I just don't trust Queta for the playoffs.
I hear ya. Queta is only a 4th Center, though. Drummond, ahhh . . . I cringe at the whole Hack-A-Drummond thing.
And, I just don't think that he could be an effective 3rd Center, in the Playoffs.
I'm all for the longer-term aspect of it, too. Drummond is a long-term: No-No.
Queta, on the other hand, has much more upside.
