Trade him now.

maybe 2021, but lets just say having him be the 5th option for 2 years hasn't helped his shot creation at all. At least from a triple teamed standpoint.

So if you wanted to have him be a 5th option playing center or SG, why point out being a 1st option PF is a bit of a transition? Like duh.

Being a 5th and then 3rd and then 1st/2nd option is exactly the kind of progression you want from a motivational standpoint.

Giving an extremely raw rookie the keys without making him earn it is exactly the kind of counter-productive anti-learning curve that ruins careers.

Now Scottie not only has a taste of team success, but has had to put in the work to earn his place at the table.

3rd? He was 5th in scoring last year. Still my point is for those like they were expecting Barnes to turn all Doncic, at least for a relatively raw player.

Or someone being like Siakams better. Dudes a more polished scorer, but you'd have to be dumb to what to keep him over Barnes at this point.

No one has the ability to takeover on offense, and no takes ownership of a defensive assignment to lock someone down.

Everything is everyone's responsibility and no one's responsibility.

I mean we say that in this game but against OKC we looked like a very well prepared team that believed in the system. We have a young team with a young coach so these ups and downs and moments of confusion are gonna happen.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

we also had a roster upheaval within the last 30 days. none of these had training camp together and we still have a trade deadline where guys may get moved. just a totally unsure time for everyone the last month.

It is what it is.

Convey the pick and move on.

Calling it now: The player we pick with Indy's pick at 17-19 will have a better career than the guy the Spurs draft with our pick.

This is one of those weird drafts.
