I could not care any less when we traded for a guy who averages 20 points a game while 80 percent of our roster was going to be out for more than a month. The overly optimistic attitude of many Knicks fans during the trade deadline was headscratching to me. It was as though we were putting the finishing touches of a superteam with an 100 percent healthy roster. And that these games before the all-star break were nothing more than preseason exhibition matchups not losing any sleep over.
I can't believe that there are still people who have zero worries despite losing 4 out of our last 5 games while having a coach who is running what's left of his roster into the ground. Do you really believe that we are going to continue to be a top 4 team for the next month? Or that Randle and OG are going to be ready to play all of the minutes that Thibs usually likes to burn out of his players? It really sucks that as a Knicks fan there is always something that sets us back whenever it seems like things are heading in the right direction.
I think you know the answer to this deep down.
He won’t change.
Dude could have prime Larry Bird and Hakeem Olajuwon on the bench and he’ll still give them 15 mpg for his starters.
Honestly I would be ecstatic if Deuce and Precious could get 15 mpg. Bojan should get a little more...atleast. The Celtics manage it ...I just have to hope against hope that Thibs sees the light.
