What is the point of hiding anything at this point though, his contract ends this summer.

It may be time for Fultz to pull the plug on this season.

Even if fultz wasn't made of glass and could play 82 games a year I still dont want him. There's no room in today's nba for a guard that is zero threat to shoot outside of two feet from the rim

Fultz will make for a good backup somewhere.

They should start Isaac against the Cavs. WCJ, Isaac, Franz, Paolo, and Suggs. The bench Goga, Moe, Ingles, Harris, and Cole. This will be the best rotation.

Everything would have changed.
Year one (2004-05) it would have been:
Francis/McGrady/Hill/Howard/Battie-or-Cato
Maybe if McGrady stays, the Magic upgrade the C slot for Howard's rookie 2004-05 season. It is an interesting roster. Clearly one outcome would be that the Magic would have never acquired Türkoğlu for 2005-06. And moving from there, it is a total rewrite of history. The Magic would have never assembled a 4-out and 1-in roster. And frankly, Howard might have spent his Magic career as a PF.

We traded Mcgrady though for Francis, Cato, Catino Mobley though in a S&T correct?

"Knee injury maintenance" after a week off for the All-Star break? What was the knee injury? Tendinitis (if he even ever had that) is not really an injury, it's just soreness from inflammation, and it typically resolves itself at some point through rest (which he had plenty of). So now after a week of rest he needs to take the night off?
I genuinely hope they just sit him for the rest of the season, whatever is wrong with him. I'm so tired of these guys (Fultz, Isaac, Harris, WCJ) who are constantly in and out of the lineup and play half the season in a healthy year. Fultz and Harris bother me the most because I just don't see a sense of urgency from them. Maybe it's their personalities, I don't know, but half the time we're not even sure what's keeping them out.

Complete nonsense.
Knee tendonitis to a basketball player is like elbow tendonitis to a baseball pitcher. It requires complete rest for a while, but then also strength training and building up the support muscles. At the time that they announced it, I said that this was going to be a long-term issue. It can be very painful, especially for someone who already has CNS issues, which Fultz has.
I doubt seriously that the Magic players did nothing over the break. I suspect that Fultz probably pushed it too hard. Working too hard is his MO. It is how he got to where he was as the #1 pick.

that's quite an optimistic take.
Tendinitis certainly is the type of injury to linger for an entire season, but it is undeniably ridiculous to have to miss the first game after the all-star break with this kind of injury...
I've struggled with knee and ankle tendinitis throughout my soccer career, and while I know basketball is different, I just can't imagine that this dude is missing all this time due to "knee tendinitis". I mean, it is safe to assume he's getting constant treatment and checkups from a qualified medical staff... I've been saying it all season, to me this just doesn't add up.
It's more likely we're doing him a favor by calling it tendinitis so whatever sorry team signs him this off-season isn't overly aware of his other issues constantly flaring up
