We all know the way the Jones run things is not exactly how any of us would run things however I find it kind of hard to believe that Jimmy is the ONLY coach that could ever handle the culture. Did something change when he went to Miami? Was he not able to handle the culture there?
Bill Parcels is a HOF coach, he wasn’t able to handle the culture either? McCarthy has had 3 consecutive 12 win seasons, does he all of a sudden forget how to handle the culture once the playoffs start? He seems to handle it fine during the regular season.
So is the problem the culture or is it the players? Are they not able to handle the culture or are they not able to handle the pressure? We all saw the look in Dak’s eyes during that last playoff game. Was the culture getting to him or was it the pressure of the situation?
That’s a legit question, I’m not trying to be sarcastic.
I actually found it shocking that Dalton Schultz said Jerry Jones lets fans watch the players work out.
Like at best a player only finds that creepy, at worst it reinforces the impression that the main priority in Dallas isn't to win games, but to provide a spectacle.
It’s strange cause a lot of the media that cover the cowboys always complain that the practices are off limits. That they only get certain days and privileges to see.
