I like Slaun, but he could be a Kevin Knox type, but even there I think he'll be able to develop way easier than Knox.
I like Ware as well
I also like the Tennessee kid Daulton Vonclech,(ino I spelt his name wrong)
Really like Dillingham too but I don't really want him on the raps
Sheppard to me will have his doubters just based on size and athleticism, but his shooting numbers will translate. Even Jimmer didn't have this type of efficiency. HIs defensive playmaking also should be good enough to make him a neutral defender.
Basically, we try to find flaws in guys, but you see how a player like Podz was so plug and play in the right type of system. We all also doubted Steph and he is in a greatest shooter category. Haliburton also had many huge doubters.
Sheppard's 54/52/82 is basically unheard of territory for a guard. The recent Tennessee game was a capper for me. Even after he screwed up, he still secured the victory by taking over the game in scoring. The guy is just a winner. I assume he will go top five in this draft.
In our range Ware makes some sense, but I don't have the best handle on his mental make-up and injury history. Those skinny types always worry me.
The French kid Salaun is a good bet with Indy pick as well, but I would not go too high. He only does a couple things well and I* am not sure I see a huge feel for the game.
Collier to me is the best fit. If we get such a highly rated big driving guard like him with the Indy pick, we are doing well. Sorry, but Quickley is never going to be an elite driver and Collier is a far better playmaker as this late college season is showing.
