Turner has to have a great series for them to beat us. Our bigs certainly don't like to stretch out to the 3 pt arc...my guess is the games Turner is hot from 3 is the games Indy will have a good chance beating us. To the point Thibs should look into playing precious at the 5 in this series to help with there bigs that like to shoot when our 2 centers really don't want to go out and guard.

I think NDOS mentioned when the playoffs starting when Indy was a potential matchup that we might be better suited with ihart or mitch guarding Siakam (not a good shooter). And then have OG on Turner...so that if they run that 1/5 P&R with Hali/Turner we can either hedge that and OG is quick enough to recover. Or just have Hart on Hali and OG on Turner and just switch that screen everytime and that limits what they want to do.

I kinda like that idea with OG. I do think our bigs can manage Turner as well since he's not a threat to come into the center like Embiid was. Turner's either gonna be inside or out. As others have mentioned, Precious should be able to handle Turner as well.

On offense, I'm wondering if we'll see a bunch of Mitchell Lobinson. If these bigs help on Brunson the lob should be there all day. For iHart too.

If they are gonna double high, depending on who’s in the game with Mitch, if Brunson gets the pass off quickly to whomever is at the free throw line(prob ihart or OG) it will either be a 2 on 1 lob to Mitch or a wide open 3

If the pacers think they are going to get away with 20+ minutes with Obi at center this could be a rude awakening for them. Turner is going to have to play 35 minutes a night and stay out of a foul trouble. We know about Obi's rebounding abilities.

My guess is we see more Jalen Smith. Again to force our bigs out and he's a bit bigger and a better rebounder.

agreed but the good thing is he didn't play much at all the first series...so asking him to come out guns blazing and effective early in the series should be to our advantage.

Also, Precious would take his lunch money.

I like this only if we blow them out. Reggie there stuttering, sniveling. Mm hmm.

You know what, I was kinda iffy on TNT losing the NBA, but now I'm okay with it. Reggie is awful as a color analyst.

I hope when Amazon and NBC make their move, Monica McNutt gets offered a heavy bag to be one of their lead color analysts. It's time.

Always thought talk of ESPN Knick-hating was overblown a bit, but this year it’s really wild. I mean it’s blatantly obvious they’re doing it for attention.

Guess it’s the same concept as social media/Facebook/etc… pump you full of shyt that gets you angry because it’s more likely to make you tune in and keep you coming back.

The Knicks were down to a 7 man rotation and are missing their starting PF, lost their back up SF and their back up C got injured and they bounced Philly in 6. ESPN is a disgrace

Yall, help me decide what to cook for tonight's game meal:

Home cooked turkey burgers, Nathan's fries oven baked, with a side of bbq chicken tenders (homemade).

Or

Teriyaki chicken and vegetables over garlic mashed potatoes, salad on the side.

Stup my man…our defense won’t allow that.
Indy is soft - when they won the in season chip -you remember what teams did to them after the fact?

Hali is definitely talented and in his draft year I over looked him - but I did that because I didn’t think he would be a tough enough nba player. He had the opportunity to prove me wrong and so far he hasn’t.

This Knick team has Metal. They fear no one.

I can see this team allowing a Hali lead team to reach 4 games before we do.

The correct response is 'the Knicks will miss their shots so they will get plenty of offensive rebounds'...

Oh...and look at that original comment again...did you miss something?
lol

Yes I did-forgive me -lol

They are really trying hard to revive the old KNICKS vs Pacers rivalry from the 90s. The only problem is most of these young guys weren't born yet or were infants, so they don't remember it or even care about it.

Franz Wagner being directly above Brunson lunacy. Having him above Paolo Banchero alone is wild especially after that game 7 display he had..

If they were trying to be remotely serious they have Brunson top 5, top 8 if they are really stretching things

agreed, we should see a lot of:

Mitch
Precious
OG
McBride/Divo
Brunson

so long as McBride/Divo/Brunoson/OG are hitting their shots they should have a huge +/- with this lineup,
with precious on Turner and Mitch on Siakam, we could get a lot of high screen and rolls with a lob to mitch.
You can't play Mitch and Precious together...but they can alternate.
