If you are a fan of some team X (or just a hater of team Y who plays vs team X), and if there's a contact to a ball at all, you can say always "no way, it's not a foul, he touched the ball first", even if it is an obvious foul like this. Just change their jerseys, it would become "how this is not a foul?! you cant break someone's elbow just because you touched the ball !! ". It is always the same, same in NBA, same in Euroleague, same in European soccer. Not sure if sports fandom makes people really irrational, or we are indeed just a bunch of irrational people who watches sports...
