Just like none of you was surprised Tatum missed the two layups to end the game.
It doesn't happen around here with these guys. Brown was just as bad as Tatum in the 4rh. He had that pull up 3 where he barely touched the damn rim earlier in the 4th.
They got tight.
But as much as Tatum went off in the 4th, no one is talking about it with Brown. It's ok to give him the credit on this one.
Also. White was just about as bad as you can get. I doubt he's that bad again.
Brown was good on that specific shot all season, the corner three with a defender standing 1 inch from him but not contesting shot. He was better on that shot than wide open corner threes. It's almost like he spent the whole season practicing for that moment.
Brown has never had a game tying or winning shot with under 10 seconds to go in his entire NBA career.
Wether he was capable of making that shot isn't the question. It's the fact that he's never done it in the circumstances. I had zero faith it was going in because Brown isn't that guy. Not until that moment.
Must have been more seconds on the clock when he tied a game and we went to OT, the game where JT playfully punched him in the chest? There wasn’t because we went to OT vs. Utah.
I think he hit one this season with little time on the clock but then the other team got their shot to answer at the buzzer.
He’s hit other clutch buckets too but of course I’m not sure of the time on the clock.
Didn’t he hit one under 10 seconds with a banked 3 against Miami to go to OT? I’m not 100% but I think it was to go to ot? Maybe he hit it and they had over 10 seconds left but i don’t think so.
Still, I know for a fact from memory, because the regular season is a part of his career, he has hit a shot under ten seconds that sent it to OT. I think it was against Utah IIRC. Unless you’re telling me the ball stayed in the air 11 seconds?
