You guys heard this? Turns out the Jimmy Hoiberg situation was crazier than I thought.
Who would want to coach an a-hole like Jimmy Butler? Guy must be bi-polar.

After game 4 I made a comment here about not likining how nearly all of Minnesota's post-game comments were about not getting swept and not about coming back and winning the series. They seemed to have accepted defeat and viewed not being swept as some sort of moral victory.
When it comes to the finals - I guess I'll be rooting for Dallas? Would be cool to see a 5th seed win it all.
Mainly I want Jaylen "I'll have 5 rings before I'm 28" Brown to wind up with 0 rings when he turns 28 in October cause I'm petty

I don't know if one series alone should eliminate the argument that the Wolves had an all-time great defense, but it certainly should dent it. Dallas was plenty effective at scoring in every game except Game #4, and even there it managed to crack 100. It's not as if the Wolves held them to 85 points.

As odd as it seems for a #1 defense...I thought they had nobody to put on Luka. That last elimination game the primary defender on Luka was Slowmo, and Luka got past him automatically everytime with about 1 calorie spent. Minny was perennially playing 4 on 5. I was never surprised on any score because Minny was always in "emergency scramble mode" because Slowmo is too slow to keep up with and on picks he can't recover well. He's the anti-Caruso.
Is it possible to have an elite defense without a single decent 1 on 1 defender? I guess the answer is yes, as proved this year.

3rd best record in the league since the trade deadline with the #8 offense and #5 defense - and that’s just regular season which doesn’t include the 3 playoff series they’ve had since to continue to gel, practice and come together. You get this group together in training camp, you’re probably looking at the 1 seed from the brutal West. Best player in the series, and a sidekick who has actually finished the job, while hitting the shot in the Finals.
They are not some big underdog story. They’re an underdog, yes. But let’s not talk like this is “Hoosiers.”
