So, are you thinking Reid at 24yo doesn’t have same upside as those folks? Which makes me wonder why you think you know that, and Reid’s upside (and potential as starter) is discounted for some reason (when those two get benefit of more upside).
Explain it? I imagine I’m in the wide majority here?
He’s an UFA in 12 months. The other two have really great floors and have 2-3 years left of their rookie contracts, then RFA.
Nembard’s sample size is more minutes per game than Reid though.
If Reid wouldn’t be a starter in Indy - I can see why Nembhard shouldn’t be considered.
OKC Reid would start, be in ideal role, and wouldn’t be going anywhere. He will be looking for stater role where he can be unlocked (shine). If Presti was trading for Reid, and Wolves in conference were listening, Wallace would be required.
That’s weird.. I’d assume Presti can move on to any of the other bigs available this summer?
And Reid will be an unrestricted free agent in 12 months. Theres no guarantee for any team that he sticks around, I’d guess Minnesota (after trading KAT) would be the closest thing to a lock since he loves the city/team.
Overpay with exactly what I want or don’t get my guy? That’s the stance?
Claxton, Hartenstein, WCJ, Capela/OO, Brolo, Poeltl, Jonas, Ayton/Timelord.. Missing some? Not sure. Then you can move on to PF’s and find a big body backup center in free agency?
