The way you guys talk about him, McCain could be an eventual Dame replacement, maybe amore defense and less ball dominance - could be a good fit with later-day Giannis. In the meantime, he looks like a good backcourt match with AJJ and gives some scoring punch to the bench.
In the short term, exchanging Cam & Beasley’s minutes for more Green AJJ and McCain - that seems fine to me.

Probably Missi or Tyler Smith will be available #23 and Horst ... you better draft Cameron Christie #33 ... he is born in 2005 and can easily be a rotational shooting guard for the next 10+ years
Ware, Holmes and Shannon depending on trial makes up my very short list.ShootingtheJ wrote:Fotis St wrote:Holmes projected as high as #18 ...

Please tell me the difference between Max Christie coming out of college and Cam Christie now?
I don't see any. Max is still slightly intriguing, but after 2 years he's still not good enough.
As for Holmes, ESPN, which has sources, is still much lower on him. I think he's an absolute steal, but there's a good chance he's there for us at 23.

The "seed" is similar, but in order to flurish , the type of soil and the farmer matters the most.
Bucks have a clear need for 3p shooting for as long Giannis is here. There is a clear role here to fill. I wish our current farmer provides enough water and special treatment to this seed cause honestly brother, drafting bad all these years has dried us out of talent.
I disagree. We need more scorers like Mids who can do it at all 3 levels. Shannon is one I really like. We only have one right now in Mids.Fotis St wrote:ShootingtheJ wrote:Fotis St wrote:Holmes projected as high as #18 ...

He's still intriguing, but he averaged 4 ppg and 35% from 3, and was well below replacement level. I think we can find better than that at #33.
Could be a good player by 25? Sure, but he'll likely be on his 2nd or 3rd team.

That's not a death sentence but it's important context for his time at Illinois. He was not nearly as good when he was playing against his developmental peer group (but he was not bad either).
I read alot about his trial and its very flimsy. DNA is lacking. The guy he was with was accused of the same thing before. He wasn't even investigated Nobody saw anything. Cameras didn't catch nything. She has been inconsistant with her story. The two never said a word to each other. Just a weird case.SirChurros wrote:Call me old fashioned but I’d prefer we stay away from the guy who is in the midst of a rape trial.
