Only have 30m in space now and are hard capped because of the caruso trade. So NY beats that easy.

Better chance than NY? No. And Philly is an Embiid injury away from being mediocre.

why was hakeem called "the dream"??"
Because it rhymes with 'Olajuwon'.
remember Canadians are just Mexicans with sweaters

While i still 100% expect OG to resign there. It gives NY a little more leverage to play hardball on his contract. They only have like 47 million to fill out like 7-8 spots. Seems like a lot until you factor in OG's contract. Every penny is going to matter at this point.
I don't think it changes much for OG or NYK from a bargaining standpoint. He's still going to evaluate the Knicks offer + his desire to stay in NYC vs his options (possibly Philly). If anything, they're going to say, "look, we improved the team a lot today and this is the amount of $ left if we want to keep the team together." Adding Bridges might sway OG to take less than the max because of how much better the team is now, not NYK playing hardball.

OKC needs to create a bit more cap room or do a sign and trade with all their assets, but would be similar to the Knicks situation being loaded but missing that big wing defender. OKC probably has more options they can look at though so they have to really want OG to make the move.

OKC can't get it done over 30m.

Hartenstein will not be back and they will trade Mitchell Robinson to make OG fit in the cap

Who plays the 5? Randle at the 5 seems like a very bad idea other than for some closing lineups.

They're trying to match up against the celtics, I would assume Randle can handle the 5.
But my guess is, they would sign a Center for cheap

Based on Woj, their plan is to play OG and Bridges at SF and SG to match Boston of Tatum and Brown.
They may need to figure out their backup C, and probably they are not affriad of going above the tax.
