It was a bad sign when the shot of their War Room looked like the lounge at a community college.

Awful. Does not help for multiple years and also could have got him at 33 anyway.

A big part of why we only have 1 title and no wiggle room is due to picks like this. Absolute dog

A vast majority of #23 are busts. Not going to get all worked up about it immediately.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Hopefully, he is a gym rate and has a Giannis type growth spurt. He looks like a 16 y/o kid.

I just don't know how you can sell this one. Our core will be gone or retired by the time this guy is ready to play. He will have to be pretty **** good for this not to look dumb.

Could've gotten a guy ready to play in Shannon or Dunn and this is what we go for

This pick ACTUALLY suits Detroit. Maybe he’s confused?

Using your 1st round pick on a guy you could have gotten with your 2nd round pick will now be referred to as ''Pulling a Jon Horst''.

I posted this a couple weeks ago:
https://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?p=113638276#p113638276

AJ Johnson is interesting for the 2nd rounder. He has significant core potential, he's young, & performed pretty well in the scrimmages. In addition was a 5* recruit before going int'l route. Went poorly, but we've seen that before. Good size for a pg (could play 2), change of speed, feel, smooth shot, & competitive on d. Would prefer this as a swing over a Chomche. It'd be a risky pick & likely take time to develop though.

Horst is dog water at drafting and evaluating long term talent. It's just what it is.

It's definitely a head scratcher. Probably take MarJon's place on the bench and with the Herd

So much for us being tight-lipped now, too. Vecenie was all over this, although maybe via Duffy.
