There's stuff outside the US? Like, outer space?
Many Americans can't travel outside the US due to criminal records.
Like Trump?

Heaven forbid these players get emotional over achieving their dream of making it to the NBA and not processing this ocassion like a soulless robot.
This is part of what makes the sport so great.

I was watching some older drafts on Youtube and nobody was crying except for a few of the parents. Definitely a generation thing.
The intel around Ware's lack of intensity from his recent pre-draft workouts caused several teams to speculate he might fall all the way to the end of the first round or possibly to the second round. In the end, the Heat, known for the emphasis they place on toughness, consistent energy and conditioning, drafted him.

Was told that there were injury concerns for Ware, only interviewed OK. Overall it seems like they weren't high on him at 19, I think they likely would have taken Ja'Kobe. The more interesting discussion would have been McCain/Walter.

They are building surplus assets for their eventual trade for a star to complement Wemby. They've already built a good cache, can afford to be patient and wait for the right guy to become available.
They already got a bunch. Time to win is now. Start building the team. No one knows where minny will be 31’. Antman will be 30 still.
They messed up big time. Even if that deal is for the #1 pick in ‘31. They need to surround Wemby now. They were gifted the best prospect since LeBron and chose to delay their rebuild. Absolutely mind numbingly stupid decision making, and then teams wonder why stars walk.
