Ihart is still undecided and will be wined and dined before making a decision. my concern is the timing of things - if it drags on does that hurt the knicks if he does ultimately leave compared to us knowing up front.
still hopeful he returns though. i do think if he was for sure gone it would have been more obvious by now.
I respectfully disagree. At this point the Knicks know and Ihart knows. You can't make all of these moves and not know.
The Knicks have proven that they are not that type of organization.
Yeah the issue is they can’t officially open up the room for IHart until they S&T a player with Bojan to the Nets in order to open the cap space to the 2nd apron.
They can all be agreed on in principle, but I am pretty sure they would get hit with a tampering charge if they attempted to do a S&T before the official start of the offseason.
If they did the trade now it would mean that the Nets were talking to the player that was signed to them before the beginning of the offseason. Even if it’s a situation where the Knicks were the ones really doing the talking and the player agreed because the money was good.
The Knicks have a few players too, they can do this with so the issue would be which one wants a guaranteed 4 mil to go to Brooklyn.
this is precisely why I like the fact that its quiet...
