It’s a much larger fire.

I like Kornet. I don’t think Wiseman or Bamba are as good as him. But idk, I’d probably take a flier on one of them if they’re willing to come here. Just gamble on the upside.
Wherever Kornet signs, send them a 2nd at the deadline to get him back if we need to lol

I agree. Kornet is better on the floor for this team, and he's so valuable off the floor too. Hopefully he returns- that goes for Tillman as well.
Every time the Sixers put Bamba in the game against Boston last season, I thought, oh good.

Kornet or Bamba? Who would the Cs want if a choice.

Kornet and Tillman benefited from the Jays and Joe stimulus package. Bamba was trapped in the Morey and Embiid Ponzi scheme.

The Celtics will be eligible to extend Hauser for 140 percent of the estimated league salary beginning on July 9 for up to four years. Boston could offer up to four years and $78 million for a full max extension for Hauser. The sharpshooter’s price tag is unexpected to be that high so it will be interesting to see if the two sides can find common ground in the coming weeks after a host of new contracts are signed around the league in free agency.
With Hauser’s back in the fold now officially at a bargain contract for one more year, here’s a closer look at the Celtics roster heading into the start of free agency on Sunday night. Boston still has one more decision to make on Neemias Queta’s $2.1 million contract by 5 p.m. Saturday. The team could elect to decline that option but still try to bring Queta back per a source to create some roster flexibility. Queta is also eligible to sign a two-way contract for one more season with Boston or any other team if he is unable to secure a 15-man roster spot.

I think healthy Rob was great but a lot of his lob game was thanks to the Jays and Al. I think Bamba out there with 4 of the 5 starters would be a nightmare for opposition the way Lively/Garruba were in WC playoffs. Maybe his deficiencies will make him a disappointment but I think that if he takes a vet minimum here in Boston, he could play his way into an MLE next year.
He may not be a difference maker when the playoffs roll around, but I bet he could eat up a lot of minutes. I like Kornet better because of his locker room presence, his motor and his intelligent play but I think he will cost too much this off season. However, having a better athlete with better hands to finish lobs would be really fun to watch and Bamba also has a decent enough 3 to create space unlike Luke.
