OKC has a lot of cap space and they sort of need to win now & center was their real weak point in the post season.
It's a short term deal so it's not like they're stuck with him forever and they can trade him as an expiring after 2 season if it doesn't work out. I kind of had hopes OKC would have some interest in Nurkic but that ship has sailed now lol
This was a bad deal by OKC. 29/yr and for three years is too much and too long. Presti messed up I think. He would've been better served trading for Nurk then blowing 100m of Hartenstein.

Hartenstein is better defender, in the post, hustle, team defense, etc.
Hartenstein is also 26 years old. The next 3 years is his prime!
I am jealous of the OKC Thunder. They have a well built roster, and future of picks.
