I wouldn't look for talent for those 10th, 11th spot in rotation, but rather veteran presence, leadership, mentorship. Joe Ingles fits here as 5-10 mpg guy who's role will be:
- keep speaking, explaining nuances of the game while sitting next to young guys
- get 5 minutes of playing time when Finch needs him on the floor
- run one pick n roll with Rudy
- hit open three, walk back in defense
- deliver hard, smart foul
- troll opponent
- go back to the bench
That's it. If MIN want to develop young players, they should give them more playing time.

They want defenders to stay close to Klay to open things for Luka's pick n roll game. Even a bad shooter such as DJJ was good at hitting wide open shots. If Klay can revive his career as C&S big shooter this will be a huge win for DAL.
P.S. I hope Edwards, Towns, Reid, McDaniels, TSJ and Dillingham will study this year playoff and attack Luka, Klay and Kyrie aggressively and relentlessly.

Disagree somewhere between mildly and strongly.
The backup SG and PF are settled without doubt. NAW and Naz will play. Beyond that, Karl will continue to split time with Rudy at the 5. In the event of foul trouble questions remain which depend on who else we sign. The backup PG being RD is an assumption which could quickly fall apart if he struggles to start the season. He is also going to be a massive defensive liability to the point where I firmly expect him to be in an Iowa for the year. If we handcuff ourselves to him by not bringing in a legit PG2 we are punting on the year.
Minott, Miller, TSJ, and possibly any free agents we sign will compete for the backup SF minutes vacated by Kyle.

I think it's a great move by DAL and makes them a very dangerous.

Nope Klay is over the hill, some of you are impressed by points per game and overlook the horrible defense, bad turnovers and the bad attitude, etc , there is a reason golden state cut the cord. Dallas will regret this, but that’s fine with me.

If he struggles we will stick with him while he works it out. Once again I say stop the nonsense about Dilly in Iowa. It's not going to happen. We will sign a PG, but for the PG3 not 2. Maybe Morris if he would take the vet Minimum.

Dude we have two years at most and then **** hits the fan. You don’t waste one trying to bring along a rookie who isn’t ready. That is how you murder his confidence and turn him into Jarrett Culver. If RD hits the ground running and looks like a stud, then you let him out of the barn. If not, you fatten him up with the G league competition and see if he cannot do better next year.
