Ask yourself, would we trade Josh for that type of package? No, so why would the Wolves do that for their 6th man that can also start.
Timberwolves is over the second apron team and need relief.

Why do they need relief? the 2nd apron is not a hard cap. If you're over it, it restricts you to do a lot of things but that doesn't mean you have to go below it.
He is a 6 MOY winner at a ridiculous cheap contract. He is a premium 3 & D guy, he is probably one of the most untouchable players in the league. He will never get traded unless it is the last year of his contract.
Minny will probably lose slo-mo but that's the business of keeping Naz Reid. I would rather have Naz then slo-mo.

Would have to include Pacome and another 1st at minimum.
We’d probably go in a cheaper direction. Just used a lot of assets on Mikal.
Who knows but why?
Duece has a great contract...even better than Kessler. He was a +10 ppg scorer in the playoffs as a 23 year old. He plays very good defense.
Kessler is stuck in a jazz rotation last year and they added 2 more guys to it.

Because Ainge knows we’re desperate now and he’s a d*ck lol.
Kessler is a starting caliber center on a rookie contract with 2 years left. That’s more valuable than an undersized SG like Deuce.
Lauri could be traded any day now, Eubanks sucks, Collins is a 4, and Filipowski is unproven.
So yeah I just think theyd want Deuce, Pacome, and another 1st at minimum.

and if Ainge keeps Kessler with the log jam at center and his numbers go down he will lose a lot of trade value for him with only one year left. So its not like Ainge is in some kind of drivers seat. They had a chance to showcase Kessler big time and they opted to playing John Collins and Olynyk bigger mins...and now they added to the frontcourt with Filipowski and Eubanks.
You think Eubanks signed there to get no minutes?

We both know Ainge is stubborn and will just let Kessler rot if he cant get 2+ picks for him. He’s let assets expire before.
I’d offer Deuce and either Pacome or a future protected 1st. Take it or leave it.
Chances are we are rolling with Mitch and will probably only bring back Precious. Even Goga seems like a pipedream now.

Kessler's number already went down last season. He even lost the starting spot to John Collins. He was very disappointing in fantasy last season.

I think because Will Hardy (coming from BOS) prefers 5 out. They even tried to get Kessler to shoot 3's which is sort of ridiculous.
I feel like Duece instantly becomes a starter or a key 30 minute a night piece for them who fits alongside a higher usage guard like Sexton
they don't have any 3pt guards that can also shoot. I think the fit there is great tbh. Couple that with Kessler falling a bit out of favor...seems like a good match.

Duece is probably our best pure 1 stopper.
I don't know if I want to give that up. Give them 2 firsts and Rokas

I like the kid, but it’s business. He’s a 10-15 mpg player here now. Mikal replaces a lot of what he brings. Plus we have Donte, Josh, and now Kolek off the bench to give playmaking. Rokas too if he ever comes.
Deuce, rights to Pacome and Rokas, plus one or both of the crappy protected firsts we have for Kessler is about the best we can do, unless we throw some swaps in too. That would be pretty all the assets we have left outside of our top 8 guys. Not sure we’d do it, but if we’re going for it now we’d have to think about it.
Most likely we will remain patient and go for cheaper options.
