What move haven’t we made though ? The center position is the teams only need so unless they are shipping out Mitch for someone of equal contract value not sure what other big move is left to be made

There are no minutes for a player like him unless you don’t want McBride playing or taking minutes from DDV. They also just signed Kolek to the biggest second round contract ever

That's not exactly exorbitant, it's less than half of the vets min, isn't it?
That's not going to be anything exceptional for high second round picks, we just got business done early.

I agree though, we don't have a big need at PG, unless we want to bring in a vet like Lowry for insurance.
If we get one more big that wouldn't be a terrible idea for the 15th man.

I know this isn't a trade or transaction but I was watching the latest Roommates podcast and they were asked about the Mikal trade. The question was now that we have Mikal, what kind of new defensive schemes could the Knicks possibly run? The suggestion was to do a 1-3-1 zone since other teams Mikal's been on have deployed it.

The response from Jalen and Josh was instantly a no. They said Thibs would never run zone ever. I found it interesting that Thibs is so antizone while another Riley school coach in Spostra deploys zone all the time.

when watching them play, I was always impressed by Reed and sometimes impressed by Precious. To be fair, that must have to do with sample size. The latter is easier to root for. Idc, something will happen.

Reed would just be cheap insurance. If those guys are better and healthy then great. If Mitch gets hurt again and if Hurkporti is not ready then hes another body. We could use another big for depth with all the unknowns and he's available

he was really awful against us. was truly unplayable. looked like bargnani out there. no thanks. if mitch is hurt, give me precious. reed sucks. you know he's bad when the sixers rather have a 2nd round pick adem bona over him. if precious is hurt too, i'll gladly roll the dice on hurkporti too over a scrub like reed.

Reed wouldn't be terrible but I prefer Chewy. Would be good insurance to have both.
