Sassar, Ausar, Holland, Okoro and Stewart.
I don’t think either team would score

Okoro to me sounds like Ausar or Ivey might get traded. Especially since he's still young and plays the 3. I really think Holland is going to be playing 4 spot of us.

If you believe the beat writers, in order of importance it's Cade then Ausar then the rest.

In the article:
“If Detroit offered Okoro an annual salary north of the non-taxpayer midlevel exception, which is around $13 million per year, Cleveland would likely be iffy about that kind of financial commitment, especially with their current salary cap structure and an understanding that the roster will be even pricier moving forward,” Fedor wrote.
Why do we need yet another SF that can't shoot from the outside? We already have Holland and Ausar.
39% on 3 attempts would be great for Ausar or Holland.
I wouldn’t put Okoro in their category.

Sign Tyus. Add Sasser in sign and trade if tyus wants his 16mil.
Then we would need to talk Reed into taking 2mil that's leftover from8mil exemption(Beasley). If u can break that up. Not sure.
Then would we only have vet minimums?
Duren Reed
Tobias Fontecchio
Ingram Ausar Holland
Beasley THJr Cade
Cade Tyus Sasser
That looks glorious to me
Drwho17 wrote:Yes, hopefully this stops the moves, keep the roster the way it is, let it play out this year with all of their youth and see how it goes. Don't be shipping out Duren or Ivey, or picking up guys like Brandon Ingram that their own teams don't want, especially to send out cheap young players. A move for a guy like Ingram at this time, is improper, Pistons fans could look back and see Middleton trade 2, maybe even worse. I just keep hoping something happens with Ingram and it isn't the Pistons who will be stuck with him and his max contract demands.

Just a bit under $20 million remains if we use the room exception on Beasley or just a bit under $14 million remain if we want to keep our $8 million room exception for someone else.

I wonder what the market actually is for Tyus.
I’m not sure why he’d sign here without a defined role considering there is so much evaluation with the young backcourt players.
I’d love to get him for a slightly above MLE 1+1 as an insurance policy. Seems like a very trade-able deal.

He’s a starter on a bad team, bench guy on a good one. He seems like one of those guys who needed to convince the right team right away. I’d still give him an above mid level two year contract (second year a player option) and have him be a bridge guy. A glue guy until we can get a better long term fit.

Ya, seems like the coach loves him some Ivey. Soooo, I'd still toss tyus that $14mil in capspace. And we'd even have the exemption leftover. We definitely have a ton of depth this year

I agree as far as role goes.
I just wonder what teams are considering him, who’s made him an offer (and at what price/term) and what he’s waiting for?

- what is Tyus thinking?
- what is Okoro thinking?
- what is the Pelicans front office thinking?
- did the Lakes/Bucks just give up?
