I once worked for an organization where my bosses, bosses, boss would check on me. Then even after leaving he'd reach out once or twice a year, always trying to recruit me.
It seemed almost odd, but I've never been happier in a job than I was when I had these 3 guys layered above me. At the regional, territory and vp level the human factor and emotional intelligence displayed was staggering and it had an impact on me.
I dunno how involved Gores will be, but TL sounds like somebody I would want to work for. JB sounds like somebody I'd want to work for. And if you can get 12 guys to all feel that same way...
