Would rather an actual defender rather than a guy getting by on fast hands and antics but he's still out best off guard since Donte. Go get the Brazilian Giannis and call it a day.

I expect we're done this off-season minus maybe swapping Galloway for a developmental big on a 2-way. And I'm perfectly fine with that. Great signing for the veteran min. Very happy with what we've done with limited flexibility.

Patbev wasn't an option, 1) because its clear he wanted to cash out one last payday. 2) because he wasn't really that well liked..

My first thought was it's crazy Klay Thompson got $50 million (not sure on the guarantee) while Trent Jr had to settle for a vet min. He's not the perfect player but he's still talented and in his prime. Hopefully he comes in motivated and adds some juice to the team.

People are giving credit to Horst for his and I have no idea why? Feel like it's all Dame and Doc (per the espn article) and wanting to play with our big 3.

Idk if GTJ hits it’d make it easier for us to withstand a Khris and maybe even a Dame injury.

Bucks did make it past the ECF with Giannis hurt but of course it was Atlanta.

Looking ahead and after consulting with GAD, apparently if things go well we have flexibility to re-sign him to a long term deal next year so long as we get under the second apron.

Would love to do some sort of 2 for 1 where we send Pat + one of the young ins for less salary back. Might not be enough given the price to clear cash these days

so basically the same two reasons we let pj tucker move on.

losing tucker is why i wanted bev back honestly. i like to learn from my lessons. we were a different team both times when those guys arrived.

i do understand our hands were tied here unlike with tucker who we simply didnt prioritize properly at the time

We were #1 in the east/#2 overall last season. The teams who got the furthest were #3 overall (Celtics), #17 (Mavs), #15 (Wolves).

Teams who tend to get overrated are ones who made new big moves or were the reigning champs due in part to circumstance.

Ones who are underrated are those looking to improve w/in or build continuity after they made big moves the prior yr. Health is another unpredictable variable.

We were outstanding w/ our top 3/5 available & against the top 10. That's before continuity was built. W/ more margin for error due to the depth, you have to like the Bucks' chances to go far if they were finally relatively healthy.

The absolute most we can pay GTjr next off-season is tpmle. Thats less than what he turned down. Hes a one and done.
