No kidding.
Amazing thing is his peripherals, which don't like him. Yet all he does is put out great outings now for like three months.

Agree. I remember years ago debating on this forum or maybe one of the older ones with the sabermetricians who felt that closers were overrated because their data did not support the importance less-enlightened people like me imputed to them.
After watching the ninth inning Devin magic just now, I rest my case.

Re: Brewers/Reds Series
At this point if you're a minor league pitcher withs some talent but hasn't put it together you should be begging your agent to get you in the Brewers organization.ReasonablySober wrote:jute2003 wrote:So Tobias....where the hell did he come from and how **** would this pitching staff be without him?

Re: Brewers/Reds Series
Cards are off today. As is KC. I don't remember a scheduled Sunday off day before. ETA Cubs and White Sox are off today too
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: Brewers/Reds Series
Milner has struggled this season. Wonder if he has been trying to pitch through injury and/or this way to maybe figure some things out.
Curious to see DL Hall today.

Re: Brewers/Reds Series
I'm fine with giving him every chance to be a starter but I still see Hall's future as a high leverage reliever.

A sweep would've been nice with the Dodgers coming up.
