1st tier: Jordan, Lebron, Kareem.
2-1 tier: Wilt, Russell, Duncan, Magic, Bird, Shaq
2-2 tier: Curry, Kobe, Hakeem

I can’t think of a time I’ve seen a top 12 players match mine so perfectly.

All right so what is your basis of ranking them the way that you do?

50% career achievement, 25% as a player/stats, and 25% what they meant in their era. I don't necessarily believe that comparing stats and analyzing advanced stats in different eras makes too much sense because rules and circumstances are different, and I put more emphasis on achievements and cultural icons. As a 30+ die-hard Warriors fan, I would love to push Curry's all-time rank as high as possible. But, I don't have a good argument against those 2-1 tier players, when they achieved a bit more in their careers. Honestly, I would be fine if Curry were ranked in the 10th-12th range. Maybe Bird and Shaq within 3 years?

Best player on the court was Curry. Many people don't see it though. Such people tend to see Andre or Draymond or even KD scoring freely and think that's all Andre, Draymond, or KD when it's actually highly influenced by Steph.

Everyone would tell you it’s Lebron but I know how you feel about Steph so there is no point debating.

Of course you would avoid debate. It becomes embarrassing when one recalls how players like Wade and Bosh were supposedly washed while with LeBron whereas Andre, Draymond, and KD never looked better than they did with Steph.

I avoid the debate because you are WarriorGM lol

If 2016 & KD didn’t happen, he’d be higher in all time rankings

If this was "what is the argument he top 10", it would be interesting. GOAT is laughable. Poll should have an "outside the top 10" option since there's a good argument he's not top 10.
Only 7 Players in NBA history have 21,000 points, 5,750 assists and 5,750 rebounds. LeBron has double those numbers.

Yeah, I don’t know why that isn’t an option.

That depends on what you think a point guard is. On paper he is a point guard but Green is the one who actually runs point for Golden State, even on the Olympic squad it was LBJ who ran point. Not saying he can’t create but he is best used when he is off the ball. He not known for being a typical point guard. How many skits have been made about people chasing him off screens and the talk about his gravity.

When his shots aren't falling, he's basically useless on the court. Just watch the entire Olympic run before the Semi finals game.

Why is there no voting option for outside the top 10? This is kind of presumptuous. It's a borderline case, at least.

We are talking about GOAT standards here. Again when his shots ain't falling, he's just a liability out there.

But when he's on rhythm, he is arguably the best ceiling raiser ever imo.

This whole thread is about him being the GOAT, lol.

And honest question here, if Curry shot is not falling what else is he doing? He isn’t a lead defender. Dude has career rebounds and assists numbers of 4.7 and 6.3. Only one season where he averaged 8 assists. So he ain’t really passing or rebounding it either.

Curry is arguably a top 15 player. Him being the greatest shooter of all time is what makes him great. Let’s not pretend it’s other attributes.

Steph in the final game in the Olympics was quite impressive and definitely God mode. There are plenty of other games where dude could not miss.
