He's a below average rim protector (41st percentile in rim defense last year), and he doesn't disrupt much off the ball (1.5 deflections per 36 =21st percentile, doesn't force turnovers at all.) His poor decision making shows up on the defensive end, so if an opponent forces him to make multiple rotations/decisions/reads, he's likely to mess up.
What he's good at is being very large and strong with solid foot speed. Posting against him or isolating against him such because he's got big time core strength and really long arms. He was able to give Durant and Jokic a very hard time last year. You want to put him on a juicy matchup where his help responsibilities are less. He's fine as a secondary rim protector/shot blocker, just not great as the primary.
