Rice deserved to be suspended for the season. Looks like karma got him instead. You hate Zeke for his partying ways, what say you about Rashee Rice? He’s clearly a bigger scumbag than Zeke ever was.

Yeah but didn’t Ezekiel Elliott become a fatass? That’s pretty bad.. he’s basically stealing from the cowboys because he convinced them to sign him even though he’s a fatass

He actually looks a little thinner with the #15. He’s definitely stealing money though.

That combined with your excessive alcohol will lead to a premature death. Why not bake salmon? You need to eat healthy

I completely hate salmon. Much prefer my whole clams, shrimp and Maine lobster !! But sometimes I get tired of eating sea food living here in Maine. And I do eat very healthy most of the time. I've been eating fresh garden vegetables since August. Been going to the farmer's market every weekend. Do you know what is the hardest part of eating so many vegetables?

We can talk about Trevor missing guys, and yeah he has played pretty bad this season, but it's stuff like this that really annoys me:

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/doug-pederson-as-coaches-we-cant-go-out-there-and-make-the-plays-its-a-two-way-street

fter Jaguars coach Doug Pederson was asked what he viewed as “kind of a strange question” about his status, he gave kind of a strange answer to the question of whether he’s considering taking play-calling duties from offensive coordinator Press Taylor.

“For what?” Pederson told reporters after the loss that dropped his team to 0-4. “I thought he called a great game. As coaches, we can’t go out there and make the plays. It’s a two-way street. So, you know, you guys can sit here and point the finger all you want. That’s fine. Point it right at me. I can take it, OK? I can take it. So whatever you wanna ask me, say, whatever, write, go ahead.”

This is why I say Doug's gotta go. Dude has no accountability for himself or Press. No matter what, you don't get up there and say "yeah, we called a great game, it's the players' fault for not executing"

Furthermore, to illustrate why I think it's a scheme/playcalling issue more than anything:

Spoiler:

League average WR separation is 2.96 yards. Our best last game was Gabe Davis at 2.84. Meanwhile the Texans only had 1 player with less than 3.42 yards of separation on average. I can't be too mad at the defense when we're a man-heavy scheme and our #1 corner is out and we were only ever 1 corner deep, honestly I think they've played as well as can be expected of them, but we're not scheming up easy passes to get in rhythm, everything is zero margin for error with this offense.

Doug pederson should have fired press Taylor 3 years ago, before he even left the eagles.. It’s absolutely wild that we are still talking about this 3 years later on a completely different team..lmfao I love Doug but man, the loyalty to “his guys” is just **** weird… Press must have something real dirty on Doug that he doesn’t want press to reveal to the world.

Philly told him he had to fire Press and his response was to quit. After 2022, the Falcons (I believe) wanted to hire Press to be their OC. Doug blocked the move. Which is kind of weird if you believe in the guy, you'd want him to go somewhere else and succeed, no?

I don't know what he sees in Press

Also, fun fact, Press Taylor is the brother of Zach Taylor. Between the 2 of them and Brian Callahan (Zach's former OC in Cincinnati), their 3 teams are a combined 1-10 this year (Tennessee plays tonight, might get their first win because they're playing the Tua-less Dolphins)

I was talking about this with my friend at work today, between guys like Baker and Goff, who were both pretty good for a bit before falling off then getting traded and immediately becoming better, and guys like Darnold and Geno who were never really good until going to good situations, even Justin Fields now in Pittsburg who isn't lighting the world up but still looks good, I think a guy like Trevor is clearly more than good enough, it's the coaching that's the issue

Since firing Urban Meyer in week 13 of his rookie year, he's put up a per17 game average of:

4049 yards, 22 TDs, 11 INTs, 64.7% completion percentage, Rate of 89.8. And that's over 41 games, including the start to this year. If we just look at his last 2 full seasons he's at:

4188 yards, 24 TDs, 11 INTs, 65.9% completion percentage, Rate of 91.9, over 33 games

For context, Baker last year threw 4044 yards, 28 TDs to 10 INTs with a 64.3% completion percentage and a Rate of 94.6

Yeah, the low TD thing is a bit concerning, and Baker isn't seen as an elite QB by any means, but if Trevor's average over 2 and a half seasons is about where a good QB is and he's been seen as underachieving for most of it, I would say he's a good QB.

I’m officially off the Anthony Richardson train.

He’s just too far behind when it comes to his passing. And I know this last injury isn’t supposed to be serious, but just don’t see him lasting with the way he plays. Plus a lot of that athleticism is kind of wasted. He’s not really some huge dual threat. Don’t get me wrong he’s athletic and can run. But I saw that he only has like 30 more yards rushing this year compared to Bo Nix. He’s not a Lamar/Jayden level of threat rushing the ball. And he kind of needs to be with how subpar his passing is.

I had the Lions winning the NFC before the season started. They are the best team in the conference.

The Hawks have 5 of their front 7 starters inactive. It's basically a freebie for Detroit.

I hope you started Gibbs/Montgomery this week.
