Maybe not but we couldn't resign iHart so the point is moot. The Knicks had to pivot and address that position.
I do think Towns is an upgrade over Randle regardless of iHart. The two-big lineup of Randle and iHart didn't provide enough floor spacing for us to really contend imo. Our offense had a ceiling.
Sure, KAT comes with some defensive challenges (so did Randle), and these are fair concerns, but I think it's easier to work around that than around a lack of spacing. I think it's really unforgiving in the playoffs in today's game.
