Yeah the hype around him has gotten out of hand. Potential is through the roof, but he's VERY far from being a productive NBA player.

There are tons of guys who have the physical attributes to be in the league but never sniff it because all of the parts you need, a big part of that is processing the game at NBA speed, makings reads (on both ends), becoming fluid enough to get shots off, manipulating your man into your areas of strength (or their weak spots/hand) etc.
He's still learning the game, forget polishing things up like guys who have grown up through the US academy system or the NCAA. He played in Rwanda last.
I still have high hopes for him, hopefully he progresses nicely with the 905.
