The shot is the primary point of separation from MKG. I'm buying the shot.

And while he is often scrambling and hustling sometimes aimlessly like MKG, I believe he reads the floor better, so when the pace slows, he can be a functional connector. This will allow him to overcome his limitations passing and lord forbid dribbling through traffic. Straight line drives are not going to help him. I think MKG was the superior athlete.

Salaun is a role player at best though, full ceiling.

Pretty awful process to say a guy who just turned 19 that has elite measurements and a good shot is at best a role player, let alone when he has the pedigree of being a high end lottery pick.

Then again, I feel like role player is such a general term these days. Guys that are career starters that average 15 ppg get labeled role players these days.
