He only has 6'10 wingspan, same as Walter. 6'10 is consider below average for starting SF. Average starter for SF wingspan is pretty much at least 7'
If they are to guard LeBron, Leonard, Anunoby, Tatum, Ingram, Wiggins, McDaniels, Miller, etc. are all in the 7'+ wingspan category. 6'10 wingspan would be for backup SF.
It's that, plus he gives up height and weight.
