I agree. That was my thinking when he was drafted... not quite as tall... but similar. That's a good ceiling.

That person might of gotten banned for trolling...lol. And the good thing is, none of his numbers are unsustainable. Like he is shooting 37% from 3....vs Siakam shooting 45%.
I do look forward to possibly a healthy lineup at some point to see how they all mesh together. But Gradey "getting his" is so much more appealing to the eye test and seems much more on the flow of the game vs when RJ goes for his.
We need to have a few good practices and get back to faster ball movement and unselfish play.

Roughly, if I had to guess, this is what the Raps core will look like in a couple years. XXX will likely be filled with our picks in 25/26.
Dick emerging as a (potential) legit top 3/4 guy is pretty big.
Yes, but I also think jury still out on IQ...
And Barnes..he can’t be taking steps back every other year

There have been quite a few plays over the past few games where he had the advantage because the defender was not in a legal defensive position, but playing him tightly. In those situations Gradey chose to avoid contact or pass the ball rather than seek contact..
He is an elite FT shooter & I think he can score a lot more.points from the line..

I had just made the above post after his previous game because I noticed he was avoiding contact when he had the defender on his heels & not in a legal guarding position. There were several times that game where it was obvious that he would have gone to the line if he continued to be aggressive & seek contact..
To see him last night seek contact in those exact same situations was amazing. This kid learns quickly. I don't think we have ever had a prospect that can learn something & put it into practice as quickly as Gradey does.
No idea what his ceiling is.

A Reggie miller or klay thompson lite
Pretty good for a 13th overall pick

Barnes hasn't had any chance to show what he can do yet this season. I'd give him 20 games straight before we start judging his progress or lack of it.

I don't expect another Kawhi type trade, but rather a much better player coming back.
Our pieces so far are all looking like they are exceeding their draft positions, and we should be able to consolidate the overlap into a better player.

Yeah, a HOF and top 75 player of all time would indeed be a good ceiling

I thought Kawhi was pretty good, but if we can do much better than who am I to complain

Agree with you. But to be fair, isn't the same true for IQ?
