I can't believe the league never held Embiid accountable for this, which is why Mitch is still injured and out to this day.

up until last year's play-offs- I would just watch highlights and just look at his salary and think- I hope the Knicks dont
trade for him.
Once I saw him play game after game in the play-offs - I knew I made a terrible mistake
But Cap...what I have seen so far is a ferocious -relentless- animal...I didnt expect this "has it" elite level.
That play- among so many others is why Kat is certified for me and he's on my ride or die Knick list.

What he doesn't do is block a lot of shots and his help defense is limited. But damn. He's a beast and that surprised me as well. He's definitely not soft.

It's like me with Grayson Allen. Somebody offered me a trade in BAF this summer where I would have acquired him and I think it was even a good trade. I just couldn't do it though. Because of his frickin' face.

This is one of our chemistry adjustments that will eventually come but is not easy to set...I understand how he was able to guard the
Joker...even though I watched it last year but this year I understand...

Early returns seem to support this. Knicks have a better net rating with Sims than without him and Mitch is far better at what Sims does. Part of this is Thibs related though as his systems require a drop big who's great in the PnR.

Even Precious would be a step up from Sims in practically everything.

I almost wrote that exact sentence but erased because Precious is a different sort of big than those two. It gives a different look. But I agree in principle and he's a good PnR defender who is switchable.

He had 3 rebounds and two points last night. That's not nothing. It beats what we'd have gotten from Arcidiaccono.

He's the epitome of JAG. A warm body who can't play more than 9mpg at best. He offers next to nothing on either end of the floor. Thibs not playing Hukporti over him is malpractice. I have seen more promise in his limited minutes than I have in 3+ seasons of Sims.
