sounds like we would get along  ....least favorite coach in NBA...he's always complaining about something while he has the biggest flopper in the NBA foul baiting all game.

Also, using both of your challenges in the first half is playing yourself, no matter how it's sliced.

At least KAT got to head-butt Embiid and Oubre last night.

It was the perfect Irony...
Yeah that was terrible on the league...

KAT won any hearts still on the fence with that move.

I called Kat soft in his first season in the nba...and to be fair -didnt even watch one game
up until last year's play-offs- I would just watch highlights and just look at his salary and think- I hope the Knicks dont
trade for him.
Once I saw him play game after game in the play-offs - I knew I made a terrible mistake
But Cap...what I have seen so far is a ferocious -relentless- animal...I didnt expect this "has it" elite level.
That play- among so many others is why Kat is certified for me and he's on my ride or die Knick list.
Congrats on pairing him with Shai in BAF btw...

For sure.

What he doesn't do is block a lot of shots and his help defense is limited. But damn. He's a beast and that surprised me as well. He's definitely not soft.

It's his face. Like, he's annoying but he also has an annoying face.

It's like me with Grayson Allen. Somebody offered me a trade in BAF this summer where I would have acquired him and I think it was even a good trade. I just couldn't do it though. Because of his frickin' face.

Haliburton also has a smug, annoying face but there are levels to this.

Straight DOG! I think thats what our boy Brunson is trying to adjust to  JVG...
This is one of our chemistry adjustments that will eventually come but is not easy to set...I understand how he was able to guard the
Joker...even though I watched it last year but this year I understand...

Early returns seem to support this. Knicks have a better net rating with Sims than without him and Mitch is far better at what Sims does. Part of this is Thibs related though as his systems require a drop big who's great in the PnR.

Even Precious would be a step up from Sims in practically everything.

I almost wrote that exact sentence but erased because Precious is a different sort of big than those two. It gives a different look. But I agree in principle and he's a good PnR defender who is switchable.

Do you think Precious was just a throw in last year, or did anyone in the organization suspect what he could contribute?

he did block a taller Embiid's shot :D
I'm reserving my judgement on his block and help defense until Brunson figures the chemistry out...I think there will be more

He's the epitome of JAG. A warm body who can't play more than 9mpg at best. He offers next to nothing on either end of the floor. Thibs not playing Hukporti over him is malpractice. I have seen more promise in his limited minutes than I have in 3+ seasons of Sims.
