Again similar. Jokic is the best player in the world last couple of years and had less support than Lebron’s super team. You could say Jokic is way more valuable to his team than Lebron was to the Heat. As the Nuggets rosters Heat there is no competition in terms of talent. Now you look up the historical numbers Jokic putting up this year I don’t think there should no fatigue at all. These numbers or close to it even Lebron hasn’t done.
12+13 LeBron was the best player with the best statistical profile on the best team in the league, before his 4th MVP, he already had 2 finals and 1 CF, how is Jokic similar to him?
Yes they both had 1 ring before their 4th MVP, bit LeBron was much much more accomplished.
LeBron didn't win in 11 as F' you vote for destroying competition, no one had an ounce of doubt he WILL win with a semblance of a competitive roster.
Jokic didn't win in 23 specifically because people were afraid of giving 3rd MVP to someone who may never reach the finals, even his supporters were asking whether you can win with a player like him at center defensively, after getting targeted 2 years in a row by CP3 and Steph Curry.
MVP is a narrative award, the narrative around LeBron James and Nikola Jokic couldn't be any different.
James was playing with 2 all star teammates in 2011, one making the all nba team and being top 7 in mvp voting. If he was destroying competition, he had a little bit of help along the way, no??
