That's why depth is important in the regular season.
If KP's back by December then the Cs should be fine in those road trips.

If it's not too much to ask, it would be nice to have KP back maybe before Christmas so he'll have a few games under his belt before the tough part of our schedule.

How should we handle KP going forward in regard to minutes and games?
Does he get B2B games off like Al? (I would)
Should he have a minute restriction (soft) such as not more than 24 minutes per? or a different number?
Having a healthy KP clearly takes us to a whole other level. So most important is to keep it that way.
Thoughts on what you would do and what Joe will do??
Kristaps Porzingis says the Celtics’ plan for him moving forward is “pretty open,” and that his schedule regarding playing in back-to-backs will probably remain the same as last season.

It's doubtful he'll play back to backs. He only did it three times all last season when he wasn't coming off injury. Like last year, expect Horford and Porzingis to split back to backs, and not play in the same game quite often.
KXQ are needed as much as ever to preserve the delicate duo for the postseason.
We'll see how they handle the week coming up. 5 games in 7 nights including two back to backs.

Hmm something like...
Friday @Chicago KP+Al (IST game after a ton of rest)
Sunday @Cleveland KP (1st night of B2B)
Monday Miami Al (2nd night of B2B)
Weds Detroit KP+Al
Fri Milwaukee Al
Saturday Memphis KP

Easy. Blow every team out, so KP (and Al) won't need minutes restriction.
