That's why depth is important in the regular season.

If KP's back by December then the Cs should be fine in those road trips.

Tatum and White both in the top 5 of +/- for the season. This with Joe changing his usual rotations/sub pattern from last season. Year after year they're at the top of advanced/impact stats. Cs outscore teams more when they're on the floor. Lucky to have these two!

Oops, wrong picture! These two...

If it's not too much to ask, it would be nice to have KP back maybe before Christmas so he'll have a few games under his belt before the tough part of our schedule.

White, PP, and Tatum -- the only three Cs players who have yet to miss a game -- have already made 203 threes between them. It's not even Thanksgiving yet. Last season, they reached that number on Christmas Day.

The Hornets (Hello Charles!) is currently 2nd in 3-pt attempt rate, taking 48.6% of their shots from 3. The Celtics only have ONE game where they've taken LESS than that. They only took 47.7% of their FGAs from 3 against the Cavs.

Double Post, sue me..

How should we handle KP going forward in regard to minutes and games?

Does he get B2B games off like Al? (I would)

Should he have a minute restriction (soft) such as not more than 24 minutes per? or a different number?

Having a healthy KP clearly takes us to a whole other level. So most important is to keep it that way.

Thoughts on what you would do and what Joe will do??
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

It's doubtful he'll play back to backs. He only did it three times all last season when he wasn't coming off a major injury. Like last year, expect Horford and Porzingis to split back to backs, and not play in the same game quite often.

KXQ are needed as much as ever to preserve the delicate duo for the postseason.

We'll see how they handle the week coming up. 5 games in 7 nights including two back to backs.

Here's Porzingis answering this question:

Kristaps Porzingis says the Celtics’ plan for him moving forward is “pretty open,” and that his schedule regarding playing in back-to-backs will probably remain the same as last season.

Hmm something like...

Friday @Chicago KP+Al (IST game after a ton of rest)
Sunday @Cleveland KP (1st night of B2B)
Monday Miami Al (2nd night of B2B)
Weds Detroit KP+Al
Fri Milwaukee Al
Saturday Memphis KP

Brad slightly peeved about the Low Post Defense, according to radio sources.
Even prompted a mild gee willikers out of him....

Easy. Blow every team out, so KP (and Al) won't need minutes restriction.

Read my mind, they've got Chicago after a three full days off with an IST game with point differential in play. They may play both Al+KP and try to make Monday look close.

Read on Twitter

Pritchard doing it as a bench player is kinda crazy.

No surprise, the Celtics are on pace to smash the NBA record in 3-pt makes to FG makes ratio set by the MoreyBall Rockets in 2019 (41.11%). The Celtics currently have 45.71% of their makes from 3-pt land. Get it to 50!!

Image

Just for comparison, 10 seasons ago, the Warriors number was 25.89%. (It really was just Curry and Klay, not the whole team like the Cs are doing lol.)

This pair Mares and Legler are among the less hot-takey analysts out there. Gave Boston their flowers after the Clippers shellacking. (1st 20+ mins of the video)
