Like what Avery Bradley used to do.

The Warriors are relying a lot on cutters getting easy baskets.

Maybe a guy like Javonte Green could help in that department.

One required trait for a cutter is that he not be very good at scoring otherwise, so that defenders will sometimes neglect to worry about him very much.

I fail to see how that would be a good change.

Indeed, Jaylen Brown is an excellent cutter when neglected by defenders. He just isn't neglected as much as, for example, Aaron Gordon might be.

Champagnie might also be an option.

A guy with a team friendly contract, has good size, and also athletic.

I'm sure you could name many more guys who would be financially feasible to add and who would worsen our offense.

I just don't see why one want this to happen.

Well, it only took me 5 hours to catch up, but yay We won. Too bad we have to play on back to back nights while LAC had the day off playing Philly..

X man really he wasn't too good or too bad but I was happy to see him get some burn.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

This season, after 17 games: 14-3, 120.5 ORtg, 59.9% TS%

Our defense has been iffy, but our three-ball heavy offense is what's winning us games.

Not even 60% TS as a team what a trash team.

I just don't see why one want this to happen.

Adding a player with a different kind of skill set gives the team some diversity on offense.

If all the role players are shooters then the offense will be very predictable.

It will be the opposite of packing the paint.

Walsh is also looking like he's a year away, so another veteran wing could benefit the Cs heading into the playoffs.

I still fail to see why "not able to shoot well" is an important "skill" to add.

Jaylen is one of the best cutters in the league, for example, when he gets the chance. He just doesn't get as much of a chance as he would if he were less of a scorer otherwise.

I agree, but this is not about JB.

It's a given that JB is great as a cutter, but we need someone off the bench who is different from Sam and PP.

Both Javonte and Champagnie are better than Springer.

If the Cs can trade Springer for any of those two, that would be an upgrade.

So instead of Walsh being the 9th or 10th man, a guy like Champagnie or Javonte would be better.

I am not worried about turning a switch
When playing against good opposition, playing our starting 5, they are locked in and smacking other teams
This is one of the best lineup playing more than 100 minutes together:

A. Horford - J. Holiday - J. Brown - J. Tatum - D. White - 9 games, 163 minutes, 125.3 ORating, 105.2 DRating, 20.1 Net rating

We play this lineup just against good teams

In other topic - does the Queta experiment ended now that Tilman got his feet back (I think he is more important comes playoff, but we still need to develop Queta)?

No on Q, Joe said they’re going to play based on matchups. Everybody is going to play at some point. Well, while Zinger is out for sure.

He should have given the ball up (or we should have called a timeout). He was getting nowhere on that possession which is why time was running down. Tough to ISO against this MN team in crunch time.

He was open and was 7/9 from 3 before shooting the shot. You prefer it to not be so deep but I am fine with that shot. He had good balance, a good base before going into his shot and didn’t rush it.

Brown smokes it for me. D White is a close second, but that run from JB to start the game really put some fire in us.

I really do question our late game execution. Most nights I'm going to be happy with at least 4 out of the 5 guys out there taking a crunch time shot or even the final shot. I know we've got 2 superstars, but White has been lights out in the 4th quarter, Jrue is elite from the corner, Horford can be clutch, KP when he's back is a legit stud, even Hauser/Pritchard can be trusted at this stage given their shooting %'s and the fact that they should be getting a wide open look if we move the ball enough.

On most teams you just want to put the ball in your best player's hands, but this team is built different. I'd rather work the defense for a wide open look rather than going ISO. We got over the hump last year despite it, but it still remains a mystery to me why we go away from what works so well so consistently in favor of a lower percentage look. Joe seems like a guy who's willing to break the mold, this team is all about sacrificing for the greater good, would love to see more of that.

If I'm the Wolves, I'm completely fine with the look Naz got to end the game. Obviously would want it to get to him quicker so he can get the shot off in time, but I wouldn't have a problem with him taking that shot as opposed to Ant heaving one up with the clock winding down. For us that'd be Horford or KP or White. I'll take that look over a JT step-back wherever possible (and Tatum can still hero ball the rest).

Shout out to the X man for having a really solid performance. Good to see he can come in for certain match-ups and add something different. Think we'll need the full big-man contingent to make it through this regular season and will be great to have options come playoff time.

Q, X, and Luke are our version of Longley, Wennington, and Kleine.

Time was running out because Brown dribbled the ball for like 10 seconds, looking for his own shot from the beginning. THAT's he problem.

Tatum does this 3-4 times a game. Did everyone forget the last play of the 2nd quarter? I wish neither player would do this. Tatum and Brown are at their best when they move the ball.

I always loved the philosophy of driving, kicking and relocating with the idea that ball will make it's way back to you if there's not a better look.

- If you get an easy look right off the bat then great
- If a teammate has a wide open high percentage shot then great
- If neither of those things happen you've at least forced the opposing team to move/rotate and you're back in the same spot as you started (now possibly with a better look than before)

I love books, read all the time, but I wouldn’t bet a plug nickel (what is that btw?)!! Idk who will win it but Giannis has carried the Bucks like a truck, he hasn’t been playing around!

I forgot he's still in the league.

Of course Shak is right. Giannis won PotW. JT and JB were nominees.

Yaaaay my once in a blue moon!! Would do a victory lap but it would be premature on a game day!

Seriously tho, Giannis has been going in. He deserved it even if both of our guys deserve it too. More than one person can be deserving of awards they don’t win, Giannis this week, Jays next (fingers crossed)!
