They hung around and took over when they needed too.
Good teams can do that.
My game is still going. Is it done?
It was still going but I knew they had it.

He's super talented, but he just doesn't get it and I don't know if he ever will.
It’s hard for me to understand how someone could watch that game and blame LaMelo other than if you just straight up refused to even observe another player on our team because LaMelo is so captivating, which in that case I don’t blame you. He’s cooking up on a great defensive team that doesn’t have to do anything but try and stop him lol. What do you want him to do, score 100? Feed Taj Gibson post ups?
If you can't see it then I'm not sure what to tell you. He is very fun to watch but it's as if you are watching a high school street ball game when you watch him. His shoot selection just absurd sometimes. Do you honestly think that is gonna work on the playoffs? He just does some boneheaded stuff to much for my liking, And mind you that's not even mention the fact that he is a terrible defender.
LaMelo will never be the best player on a real winning team. It's essentially like the guy in your name. Extremely fun to watch but never was able to anything of significance as being the best player.

What??
Cole was the only guard worth a crap tonight.
Shot 50%, made 3s, T2nd in points, T1st in Reb. 2nd in Assists.

He’s 23 and playing with a front court that wouldn’t stand out in the G league. I think making decisive proclamations about his career based on what he’s being forced to do to give us a chance to even compete on these games is kinda ridiculous.

He was not good today, and frankly, in about half of the games in the last 5-6 games. I love him but people really would be going at WCJ for those games lol
He needs to be really coached up by someone with a strong personality and with solid vets in the locker room.... Miami would be a great spot for him to be honestFFBlitzace wrote:Lamelo is still young enough that there is hope that he can mature and combine his talent with a proper approach. His kind of talent doesn't just grow on trees, but he still has a lot of growing up to do before he starts elevating a team.

KembaWalker wrote:It’s so bizarre to me how people (not just this thread) cannot just admit that LaMelo is really good. When you have a game like tonight and people are saying you suck after it, I dunno what to even say. You guys see elite defense every night and I’m very much sure you don’t see your guys get diced up like LaMelo did tonight. Yeah it wasn’t enough to win because it wasn’t 60/10/10 on 0 turnovers but damn.
