If we can't even get decent value for him as a rather large expiring, why would anyone want BB at 29-32 years old on a locked in contract? His value is highest as an expiring, not some inflated contract on a guy who will be aging out in a few seasons.
We **** the bed not trading him for the rumoured 1st from NYC, and then again picking up his option, we don't need to do it a 3rd time. Just extract whatever value you can out of him, and move on. This "oh but maybe next deadline" crap doesn't work.
