Many would say that’s a lot of money for a perpetually injured backup rim runner but thanks for catching and acknowledging my little dig there
Mitch signed his deal in summer of 2022, the Knicks have played 183 regular season games since then, he has played in 90 of them.
Safe to say his deal has been a complete bust, and the "wait till Mitch gets back" phrase must have been said here at least thousands of times.
About 50% give or take. So when he comes back at about game 40 , he play the next 40 or so. That might just work out well for us.![]()
Or of course you trade Dadiet, Kolek and 2FRPs for Kessler
We can't afford Kessler.
I would expect Kessler’s camp to come to the negotiating table with eyes on a contract similar to Nic Claxton who signed a four-year, $97 million deal in Brooklyn this summer after averaging 12.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game over the last two seasons.
Gotta let that thought go, he's going to get paid on his extension.
