The tweets are non-sense without them. I can’t find them via ‘nfl vs nba Christmas ratings’ google search, nor by adding ‘Twitter’ to the end of that.
Are these people just saying because the quality of the games were better for the NBA? Doesn’t matter if way less people were watching than historical trends would expect.
Yesterday was ratings proof. NBA whooped that azz. Everyone saw what took place in real time, no Neilson boxes or streaming numbers will tell us otherwise. The NFL can't hide behind ratings this time around like they always do. Their product was garbage yesterday.
I like both sports, and basketball more. The victory lap is just weird and premature to me, so

So I guess everyone has their head in the sand about this whole situation and timeline..
The NFL wants to take over every day of the week. Supposedly they even had a problem with college football with their playoff games overlapping their scheduled NFL games last Saturday.. and college football is their free pipeline, player development, and marketing as people follow college stars to the pro team that drafts them. Imagine that. Christmas games were always set aside for the NBA while Thanksgiving was the NFL's property. But now they want Christmas too even if it means cattle whooping four teams to play 3 games in 11 days just so they can do have their product out and kick the NBA out of Christmas day.
Of course if Christmas were to fall on a Sunday, Monday, or even a Thursday there there's no up in arms of NFL Christmas games on TV. But on a Wednesday?? A Wednesday!! That's damn near act of war and a "F*ck you and your league, Christmas is now ours!" message to Adam Silver and the NBA. And the hoard of NFL heads, MAGA, and the likes screamed out "The NBA is dead, we're watching the NFL on Christmas!!" days prior. And this also ties in to a pounding that the NBA has taken from complaints about the play and the ratings drop. But a funny thing happened yesterday on Christmas.. The NFL was raw sewage from top to bottom, people didn't even like Beyonce's performance, and the NBA fired on all cylinders and crushed them in actual gameplay, watchability, fun, and excitement! I don't care what the ratings say, the NFL was straight garbage and the NBA shined and blew them out of the water. It wasn't even close imo. Its a small victory, the league needed this badly, and I'm going to pump this just as hard as the crowd who constantly sh*ts on the NBA 24/7/365. F*ck you Goodwill, you might have ratings, but you lost in the public's eye on the biggest holiday of the year where you tried a hostal takeover. Sure I watch the NFL, but they ain't sh*t outside of Sundays & Mondays. The NBA is my league! Let's Go!
