Like it or not -- and I don't think any of us do -- this Celtics team has its foot off the accelerator. Waiting for the postseason. Likely to pick it up soon, especially if they get Holiday and/or Porzingis back

That’s the excuse you’re using? I see a team that looks worse defensively this year. Very lazy. Setting a record for 3 point attempts etc. I don’t see a finals team right now. I don’t care who they get back.

Tatum missed 9 shots, 8 of them threes
Horford missed 10 shots, 9 of them threes
White missed 8 shots, 8 of them threes

This team is starting to become stupid to watch. Last year was not at this level of chucking. It was through greats ball movement with more force to the paint to break defenses down. Now it’s running up the court chucking

I think the Celtics lost all the games where White did not shoot well. He is like the guy who determines if this Celtics team wins or not. He hasn't been shooting well for awhile now. Not consistently anyway.

Yes, I am using the excuse that this team isn't giving full effort this season so far (a few 'big' games aside), and is missing two starters right now. The effort shows up on defense, and by settling for 3s, instead of driving, like Tatum does when the chips are down (e.g., competitive playoff games). The lack of Holiday and Porzingis showed up tonight in perimeter D and rim protection.
