He looked super-skilled and smart on both ends. The gap between him and Nick Richards is the Persian Gulf.

We need someone like Jalen Smith as a backup.

Another 11 man rotation for Lee, dude just doesn't get it.
Way too many possessions late where we couldn't grab a rebound.

The 3 headed center thing has to stop, just pick 2 and play 2. Moussa and Nick have been both terrible playing this half a back up role since we started it.

I don't want either as a backup center. So I appreciate any sifting of their data. We should know what we have with them and what we need from C2. I trust neither in that role next season when the games mean something again.

Zero chance either of them plays one second the last 30-40 games of the season, but that’s fine. Not gonna win with or without them, so let them focus on their IG posts.

Thank god you are here for this awesome input.

Get a new schtick this is so **** played out

Shocker every comment in the thread by you is negative and 80% are babbling about some random injury quip that has no actual facts backing it up. Where have I seen this before? Oh yeah every comment you ever write lol. The same thing was said about Mark Williams never playing again by you 85 times without any actual facts to back it up.

Seriously if I went to another board and was constantly just spewing this random made up jargon I would get banned.. but for some reason we embrace it..

Stay tuned for the next game thread where he will do the same thing for the 20th time this year.

Wait, Robot Rock declared Mark Williams would never play a second again and on a night where Mark dominates on both ends and plays 31 min x 60 seconds, he pivots to the same doomsday prediction with LaMelo & Miller?

Robot Rock, can you even muster a comment about Mark Williams tonight given his play, and given his box score?

When you're wrong I guess you have to launch a new narrative insisting you're right.

That ain't healthy.

You should feel satisfied you were wrong about Mark Williams being broken/finished.

All Hornets fans who wrote his obituary should feel relieved about being wrong. But somehow the need to be right, erases any sense of relief or satisfaction.

I think the Hornets have three real building blocks with LaMelo, Miller and Mark Williams.

And I'm looking forward to this draft.

I’m thrilled Mark is looking good and playing starter level minutes. I honestly feared he might never be healthy enough to play again with any regularity. That I blame on the organization being so secretive on his progress, or lack of details shared with the fans.

As Hornets fans, a lot of what we have in our bank is HOPE. Some weeks that’s literally all we have. To continue being a Hornet’s fan requires even more than hope. If I wasn’t there as part of the first hint of having a team in Charlotte, then the actual awarding of the franchise, the early stages of development, expansion draft, first games, in the Coliseum for the huge holiday upset win over MJ and the Bulls…not sure I’d have stuck around. But here I am, sometimes full of piss and vinegar, but a true Hornets fan, clinging to HOPE. Maybe next year it starts to come together….
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Funny thing, I meant to shoutout Mark last night for making every shot he took and for playing so well. Appreciate you looking out for me though. That’s healthy.

Buddy preaching about the need to be right over rooting for a guy being unhealthy; yet he does exactly that for Tidjane Salaun at least three times a week.

Don't change the subject.

I was wrong about Stauskas. Bouknight. Kai Jones.

You win some you lose some.

Makes sense, right? Can't always be right, right?

This is a game that provides a variation of entertainment pleasure.

I get it. It sucks to lose. I hate it. But the constant negativity can be toxic to entertainment pleasure.

I was super worried about Mark, and wanted Clingan as a hedge. I still want a better hedge than Nick Richards.

What I saw from Mark last night was just dominance. There was a plan to get him back to speed and for him to be there already so soon in his return speaks volumes about his talent, work ethic, and the organization's rehab/conditioning plan for him given medicals exclusive to them.

As for the game last night, Mark was far and away the best player. Miles kept us in the game when he wasn't shooting 3's. He simply cannot make 3's anymore, idc about the game tying one that was very lucky. He's bricking so many of them, dude just needs to drive. Now that Mark is in the paint, it opens things up a bit since Mark knows how to move to the right spot instead of cause extra traffic like Nick.

Beyond that? idk. Diabate is still an excellent defender. Our healthy guards are miserable and that includes Green who had a good night shooting from 3. Micic was a disasterclass, Wong is a brick, KJ is a brick (but I like his and Wong's hustle at least). I think this team is just really bad at taking good shots and converting better ones.
